Friends for the East Cobb Park (FECP) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that will facilitate getting your order completed and providing your item to Cobb County for placement at the park. Once the item is placed within the grounds of the park, the item is the sole property of Cobb County Government. There is a limited life expectancy on all of the donated items at the park. FECP will be responsible for the donated item for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Within this 5-year period, if the item is vandalized, stolen, or otherwise significantly damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the FECP will endeavor to replace the item to its original condition at no additional cost to the donor. After the 5-year period has expired, the donor will be responsible for the cost of replacement of the item if they so choose. Donor must coordinate this replacement with FECP. This policy includes bench plaques, but excludes the benches themselves, as they are the property of Cobb County and will be replaced at the sole discretion of the County if removed or damaged.
