CHALLENGE
Friends for the East Cobb Park is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization made up of volunteers
in your community dedicated to the beauty and enhancement of your local East
Cobb Park. Help us continue to make your park great. Join today and watch your
membership dollars enhance the park with new trees, playground equipment, lights,
walkways, pavilions, benches and more!
The Neighborhood Challenge is a contest, and four East Cobb neighborhoods with the
most new Friends for the East Cobb Park members will win a Special Picnic at East Cobb
Park at the new pavilion. Volunteer hosts will provide food, fun and games for the
winning neighborhood residents. There are 4 category levels determined by the number
of homes in your neighborhood. The neighborhood in each category with the highest percentage
of new memberships wins!
Who May Enter? Any individual or family
How Do You Qualify? Purchase
a new Friends for the East Cobb Park Membership (minimum $25 individual membership)
What is the Deadline for Submission? December 31, 2009
When are the results posted? January 10, 2009
What do you win? A picnic for you, your family and all of your neighbors!

FRIENDS FOR THE EAST COBB PARK is a non-profit volunteer organization
formed in 1998 to create a community gathering place in East Cobb County. An executive
Committee, a Board of Trustees, and a Board of Advisors work with Committee members to
support and improve the park, its facilities, and programs.

Your $25, $35, or $100 annual membership will go toward supporting, maintaining,
