Families, individuals, churches, synagogues, school children, neighborhoods, businesses, and foundations continue to work together in support of the East Cobb Park. The first phase of the capital campaign began in July 2000. Planning and fundraising efforts have not ceased despite the appearance of a complete park.

- Picnic area with tables and grills adjacent to the upper level pavilion
- Overlook area from upper level parking lot
- Complete lighting on main path around park
- All Abilities playground
- Steps from upper level parking lot to main path
