Families, individuals, churches, synagogues, school children, neighborhoods, businesses, and foundations continue to work together in support of the East Cobb Park. The first phase of the capital campaign began in July 2000. Planning and fundraising efforts have not ceased despite the appearance of a complete park.

Future Plans

- Restoration of the park to its previous state before severe flooding in September, 2009.
- Overlook Gazebo on Upper Level of park.
- Complete lighting on main path around park.
- Steps from upper level parking lot to main path.
- Improvement of park trails from East Cobb Park to Fullers Park.
