FRIENDS FOR THE EAST COBB PARK is a non-profit volunteer organization formed in 1998 to create a community gathering place in East Cobb County. An executive Committee, a Board of Trustees, and a Board of Advisors work with Committee members to support and improve the park, its facilities, and programs.
Holiday Lights Celebration
This special evening features carols by local school choirs, live music on the stage and special guest appearances by Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, ending with the lighting of the live 40-foot East Cobb Park tree.
We invite you to Sunday Fundays from Spring though Fall. Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic, if you wish, to enjoy activities for children. Musical entertainment and activities are all FREE to the public.
Come be CREATIVE outside at East Cobb Park! ARTSCAPE! offers mini-art camps and classes in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Children explore the park’s trails while sketching and learning about art techniques and artists!
